Chuck J. Rubino

Charles "Chuck" Joseph Rubino, age 55, of Chesterton, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020.  He was born in Gary, Indiana on October 7, 1964 to the late Albert and Jean (nee Walters) Rubino.  Chuck worked for the City of Portage as a laborer.  He was an avid Notre Dame fan.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Christen Rubino; grandson, Giovanni Rubino-Hernandez; brothers, Richard Rubino of Lake Station, Phillip (Cindy) Rubino of Hobart; sisters, Marilyn Walsh of Portage, Marcia (Steve Sonaty) Jones of Portage; many nephews and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Rubino; sister in law, Claudia Rubino; maternal and paternal grandparents; and his parents.

An inurnment of Chuck's cremains will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 2-5 pm at Sycamore Hall, Woodland Park, 2100 Willowcreek Rd, Portage, IN 46368.  Notre Dame attire required.  For more information, please call 219-942-2109.
