Cinthia Anai Garcia, age 13 of Merrillville, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was a lifetime Merrillville resident and attended Miller Elementary. She was a loving and happy child, always smiling. She always had a happy heart even during her illness.

She is survived by her parents, Eduardo and Hilda Garcia of Merrillville, IN; 2 brothers, Arceli and Adrian Garcia, 1 sister, Camila Garcia all of Merrillville, IN; Paternal Grandmother, Juana Hernandez, Maternal grandparents, Jose and Consuelo Martinez, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Leopoldo Garcia.

Funeral services are Monday, December 9, 2013 beginning with 9:15 a.m. prayers. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart and proceeding to St. Mark's Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. mass of Christian burial with Rev. Frank D. Torres officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary service at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
