Claire Johnson, age 82, of Crown Point/Lakes of the Four Seasons, Indiana passed away Monday May 13, 2013 at the Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus in Merrillville. Claire was born November 24, 1930 in Calumet, Michigan to the late Joseph and Mary (Regina) Bonenfant. On July 7, 1952 she married Jack P. Johnson in Calumet, Michigan. Claire was a homemaker, loving and attentive mother, grandmother and wife. She was an avid golfer and member of the Women's Golf Association. Claire loved fishing and downhill skiing. She skied well into her seventies.

She is survived by her beloved husband Jack P. Johnson of Crown Point/ Lake of the Four seasons; two sons Jack E. (Joan) Johnson of Waseca, MN and Bruce J. Johnson of Novi, MI; six grandchildren Andrew (Katie) Johnson, Amanda (Nick) Korent, Crystal Johnson, Jack A. Johnson, Lindsey Johnson and Zachary Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers Joseph, Louis, and Clarence (Claire's twin brother) Bonenfant; and two sisters Mary Augustine and Katherine Zubiena.

Claire will be cremated and her ashes scattered in the Calumet Michigan area per her wishes. There will be no attended services. Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel assisted Claire's family with arrangements.
