Clara Marlene Ramer

Clara M. Ramer age 90, passed away on November 23, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on April 30, 1931, in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Charles and Alice (nee Malone) Riddle. After graduating from Hobart High School in 1949 she worked at GTE/Verizon for 41 years as a dispatcher and operator. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Clara loved her family unconditionally. She has a special love for each one of her children and grandchildren. After her retirement she and our dad spent winters in Arizona for 18 years. She left us many smiles, laughter, and memories.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ramer, and her parents, Charles, and Alice Riddle; son-in-law, Don Williams; grandson-in-law, John Eaton. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Williams, and Charlotte (Steve) Potter; sister, Freda Riddle; four grandchildren, Andy (Liz) Williams, Carla Eaton, Elizabeth Potter and Jacob (Amanda) Potter; nine great-grandchildren, Jordan Lewis, Sarah Lewis, Rebecca Lewis, Harley Potter, Joshua Pulcifer, Jozlynn Harney, Gavyn Potter, Colt Potter, Rory Potter; great-great grandchild, Kalani R. Lewis.
