Clare Duffy

Clare J. Duffy, age 54, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born on February 18, 1962 to the late Clarence and Mary (nee Hutchinson) Duffy in Gary, IN. She was a member of the Order of Job's Daughters. Clare enjoyed scrapbooking and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Clare is survived by her Aunt Dovie of Nevada; cousins, Debra Stigletz, Robert Duffy; lifelong friend, Susan Hall; and many other loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Norman and Sylvia Hutchinson; uncle, John Duffy; and her parents.

A memorial service for Clare will take place Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Jamie Lewis officiating. A burial of cremains will take place at Evergreen Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
