Claudia Corbett

Claudia E. Corbett (nee Easter), age 77, of Portage, passed away Easter, Sunday, April 17, 2022, with her daughter by her side. She was born on August 15, 1944, in Gary, Indiana to the late Claude and Veril T. (Johnston) Easter. Claudia loved spending time with her family, friends and having a good laugh. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Corbett; her granddaughter, Gabrielle Rhoads and son-in-law, Kevin Rhoads. Claudia is survived by her daughter, Jamie Rhoads; son, James Joseph "Joey" (Tonya) Corbett; grandchild, Courtney; great grandchildren, Sophia, and Emilia; brother, Landy Herndon, and many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.   A funeral will take place Thursday, April 21,2022, at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage.
