Claudia S. Rubino

Claudia S. Rubino, age 70, of Lake Station passed away in her home on Monday June 11, 2018.  She was born October 16, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to the late Charles and Eve (Nash) Stang.  She was a hair stylist that worked many years for JC Penney and privately out of her home.  She loved painting, gardening and shopping for bargains at Goodwill.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Richard Rubino of Lake Station; son, John (Brenda) Kos of Chicago, IL; stepson, Rich (Tricia) Rubino of Longwood, FL; three grandsons, Dominic, Aiden and Noah Rubino; three brothers, Robert (Donna) Oglesby, of Valparaiso, Charles (Mary) Stang of Lowell and Robert Stang of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Memorial services will be conducted 6:30 pm Friday June 15, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Memorial visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
