Clena "Sis" Adkins

CLENA M. "SIS" ADKINS, age 72, of Valparaiso, and formerly of New Chicago, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023.

She was born on June 3, 1951 in Muncie, IN and had been an area resident since 1972.  Sis was a beautician at New Image in Hobart for many years and a devout member of the Portage Church of God. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Scott Neal (Michelle) Adkins, Sr. of Valparaiso; 3 grandchildren, Scott Adkins, Jr., Jason Novak, and Austin Adkins; brothers, Earl and Fred; sisters: Bessie Mae, Margaret, Jackie,  Merry, and Florence.

Sis was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Flo Redwine; brothers, Sam, Clifford, Jr., and Jack.

Cremation entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
