Clint A. Keene, age 73, of Hobart passed away in his home with his family at his side on Friday August 30, 2024. Clint was born February 28, 1951, in Gary, Indiana to the late Louis and Vera (Coffman) Keene. He retired from Cleveland Cliffs Steel after fifty-three years of service in 2023. Clint was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post #454 in New Chicago, where he was a past commander. Clint also worked for Cressmoor Country Club golf course and Duck Creek golf course for over thirty years. Clint loved to golf.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; three children, Clint A. (Katrina) Keene of Washington, Jowanna Clarkson Kentucky, and Angela (Nathan Morelli) Keene of Hobart; three stepchildren, Marsha Dillin of Hobart, Mark (Rebekah McDougal) Dillin of Valparaiso, and Tracey (Daniel Oneal) of South Carolina; three sisters, Louise (Darrell) Chinn of Mississippi, Marcele Harrell of Lake Station, and Elizabeth (Wendy Robinson) Keene of Roachdale; fifteen grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and Many dear and longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Dale Keene.

Clint wished to be cremated with no attended services at this time. Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road was entrusted with his services.
