COLETTE S. JESELSKIS, age 82, of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 13, 1944, in Chicago, IL, to the late Irwin and Margaret Braud. Colette treasured her years on Flint Lake, where she enjoyed water volleyball and fishing alongside her beloved late husband, Paul. She was an avid reader and card game enthusiast. Her love of travel took her across the world from Ireland to France, and she embraced every experience with an open heart, including zip lining in Las Vegas, a testament to her belief in trying most things at least once. She was quite a character and will be missed by her family and dear friends.

She is survived by her three children, Paul Jeselskis, Margaret (Chad) Kollross, and Mike (Kim) Jeselskis; her grandchildren, Jacob and Lily Kollross; her goddaughter, Debbie (Erik Kasewurm) Tremblay-Kasewurm; and her dear friend, Michael Byrne.

Colette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Jeselskis; and her son, Tom Jeselskis.

Cremation has been entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
