Colin E. Stoops

Colin E. Stoops, age 38, of Avon, Indiana, formerly of Hobart, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020.  He was born in Merrillville, Indiana on October 29, 1981.  He graduated from Hobart High School, Class of 2000.  He earned a Bachelor Degree in Science from Indiana University, Northwest.  Colin was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing video games and will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.

Colin is survived by his parents, Rich and TJ Stoops; sister, Amanda (Joshua) Hunt and their two children, Logan and Callen Hunt.

A funeral service for Colin will take place Friday, September 4, 2020 at 6:30 pm with Rev. Dallas Fields officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00-6:30 pm at the funeral home. Face coverings are required.
