Connie Sue
Jurov
Jun 10, 1958 — Jul 27, 2026
Connie Sue Jurov, 68, passed away on July 27, 2026, in a hospital following complications from devastating cardiac events.
She worked for many years in several school districts before retiring. Through her work, she helped care for and feed countless children, often in ways that may have seemed ordinary at the time but reflected the dependable and hardworking person she was.
Connie endured many hardships throughout her life including a fight with breast cancer, she faced them with quiet strength, courage, and resilience. She was truly a strong woman.
When her health allowed, Connie enjoyed walking her dog, camping, spending time outdoors in nature, visiting the beach, gardening, and baking. She loved carnations and appreciated the simple comforts and familiar things that brought her happiness.
Connie dearly loved her animals, who brought her companionship, comfort, and joy. Her love for animals was an important part of who she was.
More than anything, Connie loved her family. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family will forever cherish the memories that now mean more than words can express.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Connie's final days showed just how deeply she was loved. Her family remained by her side, spoke to her, comforted her, advocated for her, and stayed with her as much as they were allowed.
Although her passing has left an immeasurable emptiness, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Rees Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 600 West Old Ridge Road.
