Connie A. Lutz, age 60, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016. Connie was born on January 26, 1956 to Robert Augostine and Catherine Hayhurst. She worked as a team leader, in the housekeeping department, at Valparaiso University. She lived for her sons and grandsons. Connie will be remembered as a caring mother, grandmother, daughter, niece, and friend.
Connie is survived by her mother, Catherine Hayhurst; sons, Nord Joseph of San Francisco, CA, Fred (Stephanie) Joseph of Hobart; grandsons, Chase Reyes, Graham Joseph; aunt, Ivia Freed of Ellwood City, PA, and many other cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Augostine; step father, Nord Hayhurst; uncle, Fred Lutz; and grandparents, Edward and Dorthy Lutz.

A funeral service for Connie will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Kerry Wilson officiating.
