CORA WILLOUGHBY, age 93, of Portage, passed away Friday, April 06, 2012 at VNA Hospice. Cora was born on January 26, 1919 in Harlan County, KY and came to Portage in 1959. She enjoyed crocheting and loved growing beautiful flowers. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Cora is survived by her 2 sons, William Roger Willloughby of Mount Pleasant, MI and Lonnie (Barbara) Willoughby of Portage; 1 daughter, Linda (Joseph) Witczak of Lake Station; 11 Grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Bessie Barnes; other loving family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, William R. Willoughby; her parents, Edward and Nancy Napier; 1 son, John Willoughby; 1 daughter, Betty Wilson; great grandchild, Kathryn Nicole Willoughby.

A funeral service for Cora will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
