Craig Christiansen, age 74, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Craig was born on November 26, 1948 in Gary, IN to the late Orville Christiansen and Virginia (nee Hood) Embry.  He was a graduate of William A Wirt High School, Class of 1967.  Craig also attended both Vincennes University and Indiana State University.  He worked at US Steel and retired after many years of service.  Craig was a member of the NRA and an avid reader of history books.

Craig is survived by his sisters: Barbara (David) Popejoy and Candy (Mickey) Boger; nephew and godson: Matthew (Karen) Boger and Robin (Teos) Abadia; great niece and nephew: Luna and Thalan.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents: Orville and Virginia; stepfather: John Embry; and uncle: Donald Christiansen.

A Celebration of Craig's Life will take place at a later date.
