Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Grutsch-Monchilovich

Cynthia Ann Grutsch-Monchilovich "Cindy", age 55, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday June 7, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Cindy was a dental assistant that worked for several local dentists throughout her career. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and a member of the Our Lady of Sorrow Altar and Rosary Society. Cindy was an avid Blackhawks fan.
Cindy is survived by her three children Michael (Christine) Grutsch of Portage, Jamie Lynn Grutsch of Portage and Hallie Monchilovich of Valparaiso; her parents Richard and Renetta Grutsch of Portage; her eight grandchildren Michael Grutsch, Jr., Calleigh Grutsch, Julianna Grutsch, Jesse Grutsch, Presley Grutsch, Trace Massom, Ariya Duron, and Aubree Hoffman; and her three siblings Lanetta (Marcus) Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Richard (Christine) Grutsch, Jr. of Chesterton and Melissa Grutsch of Spokane, WA.
A Rite of Christian Burial will begin with 9:15 am Prayers Monday June 13, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel and process to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 356 W 700 N Valparaiso, IN 46385 for a 10:00 am mass with Rev. Paul Quanz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 pm with a 7 pm Rosary service at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana 46405.
