Cynthia A. Zappia

Cynthia A. Zappia "Cyndi", age 57, of Crown Point, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. She was born on February 16, 1960 in Hammond, Indiana. On June 21, 1983, in Hammond, Indiana, Cyndi married the love of her life, Robert Zappia. Cyndi retired after 13 years of working for the Crown Point School System as a luncheon cook. In her free time, she enjoyed working with flowers, baking and cooking for her family. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and friend to those who knew her.

Cyndi is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Robert Zappia; daughter, Annie Zappia; brothers, Michael (Donna) Taylor, Bruce (Janice) Taylor; sister, Laura (Harry) Stone; many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Gloria Mack; brother, Chris Taylor.

Memorial visitation for Cyndi will take place Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Crown Point/ Winfield, IN 46307.
