Daniel Tyler Brown

Daniel Tyler Brown, age 22, of Portage passed away suddenly Friday March 19, 2021 at his home.  Daniel was born March 16, 1999 in Hobart, Indiana to Cory Wayne Brown and Kathy Metaxakis.  He was a loving son, grandson and friend.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Cory Brown of Portage and Kathy Metaxakis of Crown Point; his grandmothers, Cathy (Toney) Cole of Lake Station and Mary (Bob) Johnson of Cedar Lake; his grandfather, Russell Hovis of Hobart; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday March 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368.  Burial was in Graceland Cemetery Valparaiso, IN 46383. Visitation was from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.
