Daniel M. Flowers

Age 73, of Hobart passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020. He was born on January 3, 1947 in Martin, Tennessee to the late Jack and Ethel (nee Chandler) Flowers. Daniel was a retired Local 150 Operating Engineers and proudly served his country in the Untied States Army. On August 11, 1966 Daniel married the love of his life, Treva Dallas in Gary, Indiana. He was a dedicated member of Barrington Ridge Baptist Church where he was a deacon for over 50 yrs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going on church mission trips, gardening, running and traveling. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. The family wishes to thank the generations of friends, relatives and neighbors who have been supportive during his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 yrs. Treva Flowers; his children, Steve (Karen) Flowers, Lisa (Tom) Bryant, Darren (Vicky) Flowers and Derrick (Betzy) Flowers; brother Charles Lee (Charlotte) Flowers; two sisters, Sue (Jim) Tolbert and Linda (George) Balta; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Abbey, Andrea, Sofia, Brooke, Levi and Lucia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Barrington Ridge Baptist, Hobart, Indiana, with additional visitation Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 9:00 am until time of service. A funeral service for Daniel, will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11 am at Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, 97 Bracken Pkwy, Hobart, Indiana 46342.
