Daniel "Danny" S. Brown, age 58 of Portage passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.  He was born on December 28,1965 in Elgin, Illinois.  He grew up in Illinois and was a resident of a group home.  Daniel attended the LARC workshop for over 30 years.  He relocated to Brickyard Portage Care Center where he had recently resided.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Kathy Brown of Portage, IN; one sister, Lisa Flarida of TN; special cousin, Todd Stanley, and several aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel R. Brown, and one sister, Jodi Foster.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage.  (219) 762-3013.  Memorial service to be held at a later date.
