DANIEL J. SELVIG, age 63, of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011. He was born on March 14, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to Leonard and Lorraine Selvig. Daniel was a Purdue University Graduate and was employed at US Steel as an Electronics Technician. In his spare time he earned his private pilot's license and was an avid collector. Daniel touched many lives as a cheerful spirit with his dialysis group.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Susan (John) Sowles and brother, Leonard (Donna) Selvig; 4 nephews and 1 niece, John Sowles, Cindy Sowles, Timothy Sowles, David Selvig, and Robert Selvig; special friends, Joseph (Tina) Stearns and Robert (Jane) Reed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
