DANIEL DUKICH, SR., age 69, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Daniel was born on December 27, 1941 to Steve and Nellie Dukich in Gary, Indiana.
Daniel served his country in the US Air Force. He was a lifetime area resident and retired from US Steel. Daniel will be greatly missed.

Daniel is survived by his children, Daniel S. Dukich, Jr., Greg (Jeannette) Dukich and Melanie (Jason) Hamilton; grandchildren, Ashley and Nathan Dukich; sister, Ann (Jim) Such; special friend, Karlene Luckiewicz; many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Sturm; and nephew, Steve Sturm.
