Daniel W. Stano, age 71 of Lake Station passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Methodist Southlake Hospital. He was born on December 22, 1949 in Gary , Indiana to the late George and Lillian Stano. Daniel was retired from Nelson's Pro Auto in Portage where he worked for 25 years in automotive collision repair. He was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan who had a passion for motorcycles and hotrods.

He is survived by his son, Daniel John (fiancée, Donna Campbell) Stano; daughters, Dawn (William) Stano-Rajski, Lisa June (Trace) Greenelsh; grandchildren, Nick, Harley and Veronica Greenelsh, Aliana (Dakota) Hartman, Marleigh Napier; 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the He Ain't Here Lounge, 2661 Decatur Street, Lake Station, IN 46405.
