Dannie Raymond of Hobart passed away, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the age of 80.  He was born in Kentucky on April 12, 1938 to the late Jake and Donnie Raymond.  Dan was a Roadway truck driver for years.  After retiring he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, and spending winters in Florida.  He was very well known at St. Mary Medical Center where he was a volunteer.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Raymond.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Raymond, one son, Joe Raymond, one daughter, Rachel Raymond, step-children, Debbie (Harry) Williams, Mike (Jacque) Fekete, Brian (Arlene) Fekete, Scott (Pam) Fekete, Sue (Jerry) Fekete, Mary (Dave) Troutman, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Dan's honor may be made to the St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship fund, 1500 South Lake Park Ave., Hobart, IN  46342.

A memorial service for Dannie will be Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev.
