DARLENE (BLACK) LISCOMB, age 54, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Saint Mary Medical Center. She was born on October 25, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Tommy and Nancy Liscomb. Darlene was a member of First Baptist Church of New Chicago. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, and she loved being a mother and grandmother. Darlene will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Dixon of London, KY; daughter, Elizabeth (Angel) Rodriguez of Hobart; 2 grandchildren, Airiona and Anthony; sisters, Kathy Liscomb of Hobart and Sandy (Palmer) Neher; other loving family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.

A memorial servuce for Darlene will be Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of New Chicago, 401 Huber Blvd., Hobart, with Rev. Bill Barrow officiating.
