Darrell Bruce Sullivan, age 75, of Lake Station, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1941 to the late Hurshel and Beatrice (nee Morse) Sullivan. Darrell was a manager for the Babe Ruth Baseball in Lake Station. He will be remembered for enjoying fishing and watching sports.

Darrell is survived by sons, Tim Sullivan, Neil (Robin) Sullivan, Tony Sullivan, Ricky Sullivan, Darrin Sullivan, Shannon Sullivan, Stacy Sullivan; Daughters, Terri Sullivan, Kelly Hennings; step sons, Timmy Vivian, Edgar (Laura) Vivian; sisters, Sandy Meitzler, Maureen Petillon, Rhoda Biller, Patricia Volk, Carol Meitzler; companion, Nancy Hall; daughter in law, Carla Busch-Sullivan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Jim Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his son, Darrell Sullivan; first wife, Santos Sullivan; wife, Karen Irene Sullivan; parents, Hurshel and Beatrice Sullivan; brothers, Richard Sullivan, Clifford Sullivan; sister, Aleta Whittinghill.

A funeral service for Darrell will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Lonnie Lawson officiating.
