REV. DAVID L. FELTON, age 72, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 29, 1942 to the late George, Sr. and Evelyn Felton. He served his country in the US Army and was a retiree of Illinois Bell in Chicago. David was a member of Advancing Christ Kingdom Ministry. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Rev. David Felton is survived by his loving wife, Ann; three daughters, Christine Sassman, Lorie (James) Leonard , and Denise (Frank III) Vitalone all of Hobart; stepchildren, Monique (Tom) Nowak, Larry (Sandy) Brown, Adam (Missy) Brown, and Robert P. Brown; seven grandchildren, Nacole Walters, Cody(Kelsi) Walters, Alexandria, Zachary, Jamie and Eric Leonard, Frank Vitalone IV; brother, George E. Felton, Jr.; sister, Roxanne (Sipke) Kalch and Joan Cyprain; six step grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren .
He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 yrs., Dolores and brother, Clifford.
A funeral service for Rev. David L. Felton will be Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Pastor James Randolph officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
