DAVID M. GRASSL, JR., age 33, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011. David was born in Harvey, IL on September 17, 1977. He was originally from Dolton, IL, but resided in Hobart for many years. David was employed at ITW in Mokena. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him.

David is survived by his father, David (Barbara) Grassl, Sr.; mother, Cheryl (David) Case; brother, Robert (Heather) Grassl; stepbrother, Michael Corso; nephews, Robert, Jr. and Kyler; niece, Mikaela ; grandmothers, Eva Grassl and Shirley Pittenger; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Grassl and John Pittenger.

A funeral service will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Frank Guzzo officiating. Cremation to follow services.
