David H. "Elvis" Pressley

Age 81, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 28, 1942, to the late Charles and Anna Kate (nee Brock) Pressley in Knoxville, Tennessee. David proudly served his country in the United Sates Navy, and he retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a mill mechanic.  David absolutely adored spending his time with his wife and family.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.

David is survived by his life partner, Betty Jo Pressley; two daughters, Melissa Pressley and Amy (Aaron Pipes) Pressley; son, John Campbell; two grandchildren Gloria Campbell and Dan Briggs; twin great- grandchildren, Oshea and Olivia Pressley, and great grandchild Malaya Phillips, several nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ethel Pressley; granddaughters, Lateysha Marie Pressley and Brianna Pressley, his parents, two brothers, Charles (Eva Lee) Pressley and Lynwood (Betty Lou) Pressley.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, at 11: 00 am at City Point Community Church 6474 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368.  Family and friends may gather at 10:00 am at the church.  Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel and Cremation services, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368 are entrusted with cremation.
