David Harrington

David A. Harrington "Dude", age 68, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at University of Loyola Medical Center. He was born on November 1, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to James and Betty Joan Harrington. Dave was retired from Republic Steel where he worked as a crane operator. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and in his free-time, he liked to work on his truck. He liked to hang out with his friends and play pool.

Dave is survived by his mother, Joan Harrington; son, Scott (Christin) Harrington; daughter, Tracy (Keith) Lemmons; grandson, Trenton Harrington; and one brother, Rick Harrington.

He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Harrington.

A funeral service for Dave will take place Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
