David "Sam" L. Pitts

David "Sam" Pitts born March 13, 1962, passed on March 1st, 2025, in the presence of love and family. Sam was a father, partner, truck driver, biker and a wonderful friend to many. He accomplished so many things and touched the hearts of so many people. Anyone who knew Sam knew he was a money-making fool and he loved his 40+ year career in driving semi-trucks. In his free time, he loved visiting children or getting time to ride his Harley. Sam will be survived and remembered by his children Crystal Stover, Gail Stover, David Gonzalez, Charles Mosier, Angel Love, Ariona Pitts & his loving grandchildren, Peter Aspros III, Jordan Waterman, Jaxon Waterman, Samara Williams, Maria Gonzalez, David Gonzalez Jr, Micah love, Aveah love, Santino Martinez & his  "better half" Melissa Brasher and her beloved children Brandon Walker, Tiffany Mofang, Carlee Cundiff, Toby Brasher Harding, David Brasher Harding. A celebration of his life will be held on March 8th, 2025, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana from 2-4 pm. An after-service will be held from 5-9 at the Hobart Eagles 20 W 37th Ave, Hobart, IN 46342  for a celebration to eat and share memories.
