David Joseph Mariana

David Joseph Mariana, age 38, of Portage, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home. He was born December 4, 1978 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Alfred and Sherry (Chestnut) Mariana. David was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing baseball. Above all, he loved his son and cherished the time he spent with him going to the park.

David is survived by his wife, Misty Mariana; his son David Joseph Mariana, Jr.; four step children, Makayla Urquidi, Mattisyn Uquidi, Makenzie Uquidi and Matthew Uquidi; aunts, Kim McIntosh, Amy Gray; special cousin, Ronnie Marcum; many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Monday, April 3, 2017 at Rees Funeral Homes, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with Pastor Amy Gray officiating.
