David Desmond Milligan Sr., age 61 a longtime Gary resident passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was born on August 28, 1951 to the late John and Estelle Milligan. He was a member of the Portage Moose. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars.
He is survived by 1 son, Dave (Kris) Milligan Jr. of Valparaiso, IN; 1 daughter, Doris Milligan-Turney, 1 adopted son, Jack (Jamie) Milligan of Valparaiso, IN; 1 adopted daughter, Rose Milligan-Durbin of Lake Station, IN; 2 sisters, Val (Rick) Martinez of Valparaiso, IN; Dina (Ed) Evans of Hebron, IN; 1 brother-in-law, John Ursta, 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Eddie, Devin, Desi, Dylan, and Dom, and nephew, David Milligan, and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack and George Milligan, and 2 sisters, Joanna Ursta, and Virginia Fields.
