David John Switzler

David John Switzler passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, age 76.  He was the son of Irvin P. Switzler and Margaret Switzler Janusch. He was a resident of South Bend, Indiana.

David is survived by his sister, Karen (Bruce) Cousins of Walnut Creek, California; brother, Anthony Switzler of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; nephews, Matthew Switzler, Ryan (Raja) Cousins; niece, Katrina (Eric) Switzler-Leal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Switzler and Margaret Switzler Janusch.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, August 3, 2024 in the Boniface Wimmer Room of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 100 S. Main Street, Carrolltown, PA from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at the church. He will be laid to rest at St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery in Carrolltown.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, Carrolltown.
