David E. Williams, age 84, of La Porte passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born on June 25, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Eli and Eleanor Williams. David retired from Navistar International where he worked as a Data Analyst. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved all sports in general. He will always be remembered as a man who was devoted to his faith, his family, his grandchildren and his pets. He was a member of Kouts Christadelphian Ecclesia.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (nee Green) Williams; daughter, Beth (Jared) Andrews of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, Cole and Madeline Andrews; many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.

David was preceded in death by his son, Mark David Williams; daughter, Sharon Eleanor Williams; brother, Frank Williams; sisters, Lydia Lemmon and Betty Wilson. Memorial contributions in David's name may be made to Agape in Action at agapeinaction.com or PO Box 146, Three Rivers, CA 93271.

Burial of cremains will take place Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm directly at Calvary Cemetery, 2701 Willowdale Road Portage. Friends are also invited to a Remembrance Friday at 7:00 pm at Kouts Christadelphian Ecclesia, 102 Rose Ave., Kouts, IN 46347.
