Dawn R. Hyde

Dawn R. Hyde, age 64, of LaPorte and formerly of Portage passed away Wednesday November 2, 2022, at the Brickyard Health Center in LaPorte. Dawn was born March 17, 1958, in Gary, Indiana to the late    Rolland Lawson and Betty McKittrick. She was later adopted by Frank Hyde. Dawn was a Licensed Practical Nurse who truly loved her profession.

She is survived by four children, Paul Drzewiecki of Michigan City, Ryan (Tammie) Drzewiecki of Michigan City, Richard (Michelle) Drzewiecki of West Lafayette, and Michelle (Kevin) Drzewiecki of Trail Creek; Significant other of many years, Al Cordova; ten grandchildren, Austin Floyd, Keagan Drzewiecki, Joshua Floyd, Ryan Drzewiecki, Terriana (Acie) Hall, Bryan Drzewiecki, Sean Drzewiecki, Gavin Drzewiecki, Rowan Drzewiecki and Tyree Jeanes; two great grandchildren, Aviana and Ellee; two brothers, Ron Wise of Illinois, and Richard Wise of Portage; one sister Rhea Andrew of LaPorte; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Monday, November 7, 2022 at 12:00 noon and then process to Calumet Park Cemetery where graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm.
