Dawn L. Karshner (nee Ray), age 61, of Hobart passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2021.

Dawn was born on November 30, 1960 in Gary, IN to Delphine Eck and the late James Ray.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Snow and Ice Pros.

Dawn married David Karshner and they spent 30 years together until his death in 2015.  Dawn and David were members of the Amvet Riders.

Dawn is survived by her daughter: Heidi (Jacob) Kosakowski; mother: Delphine (Ray) Eck; granddaughter: Evelyn; sisters: Kristie Elliott, Nikki Eck, and Erin Eck; and nieces and nephews: McKenna (Mark) and their children Mason and Mallory, Madison, Alec, Nick, Max, Adam, and Justin.

Dawn is preceded in death by her husband: David; father: James Ray; and nephew: Spencer.

There are no funeral services scheduled at this time.  Arrangements and Cremation are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
