Deanna Dvojacki

On September 1, 2024, Deanna Dvojacki, 57, passed away at St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart. She was born on June 27, 1967, in Gary, Indiana to the late Frank and Carol (nee Savage) Johnson. On June 17, 1988, she married the love of her life George Dvojacki. She was a dedicated member of Deep River Church of Christ. She enjoyed classic rock music, spoiling her grandchildren, shopping, and playing board games and cards, especially Skippo. Deanna's generosity earned her the affectionate title of 'Mom' from her children's friends. Her giving soul will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 36 yrs. George Dvojacki; her son, Zachary Ryan Dvojacki; daughter, Amber Renee Elizabeth (Hunter) Craig; three grandchildren, Temperance "Tempe", Oliver, and Sebastian; sister, Cathy (John) Harris; nephew, Chris (Michelle) Harris; nieces, Brandi (Tyler) Low and Autumn Johnson; several great nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Frank Johnson; mother, Carol Johnson and brother, Kevin Johnson.

A funeral service for Deanna will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. A burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will be held also on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the service also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
