Debbie J. Grzymala

Debbie J. Grzymala, age 62, of Portage passed away at her home on Monday October 1, 2018.  Debbie was born August 13, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH.  She was a homemaker loving mother, grandmother and wife.  She was a former "Team Mom" for the Pennfield, Michigan high school football team.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Steven Grzymala; three children, Leslie Angel, Richard Scherer and Scott Grzymala; three stepchildren, Crystal Case, Dawn Coleman and Corey Winters; long-time family friend, Nathan Garcia;  six brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Billie Grzymala, Patricia Grzymala, JoAnne (Mike) Norris, Lillian Taschetti, Teresa (Steve) Kowalczyk and Stanley Grzymala.

She was preceded in death by her brother Paul, two sisters Jean "Bay" and Nellie, and two sisters-in-law Jeanie Grzymala and Mary Ann Grzymala.

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday October 5, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368.  Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday at the Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow.
