Deborah James, age 59, passed away January 21, 2023, at Northwest Health Porter in Valparaiso. She was born September 30, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Frances (Bugos) James. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Deborah loved training and riding horses. She always loved telling stories of her "Buckskin Pony Bob" that she Barrel Raced on.

She is survived by her loving Husband, Steven Woodworth of Portage; three children, Tiffany (Antoine) Cundiff of Lake Station, Ronald James of Bradenton, FL, and Shawn Norton of Portage; Nine grandchildren, Aniyah, Elijah, Noah, Jasmine, Genevieve, Jonah, Uriah, Silas, and Vanessa; four brothers and one sister; Denise Correa, Richard James, Robert James, Randy James, and Ronald James; and many nieces and nephews.

Deborah will be cremated as she requested, and a Celebration of her Life will be planned for a future date. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel was entrusted with her services.
