Debra Lynn Eaves (Nee LaFevre)

Age 70, of Hobart, passed away Sunday May 28, 2023, at Saint Mary Medical Center. Debbie was born on October 20,1952 in Gary, Indiana to the late Virgil and Violet (nee Harpole) LaFevre. Debbie enjoyed baking, swinging on the porch swing, and going to fairs. There are a few things that only she knew how to do, like whipping up some deviled eggs and putting out cookie trays too. Some things in life will just be different now, going to the fair for a corn dog or ice cream will never feel quite the same somehow. We know you're looking down at us laughing at what we say, but what we want to know is, are you still color coding your trays? Christmas is cancelled. No eggs and no fudge.

Debbie is survived by her son, Craig Burrell (Melissa); two daughters, Tammy (Pete) Steele-Reformat and Sandy (Ron) Probasco; six grandchildren, Josh (Amanda) Hughes, Tiffany (Josh) Campos, Ronnie Probasco Jr., Robert Steele Jr., Kyle Murdock, Brittany (Garrett) Probasco, Alana and Mia; four great grandchildren, Ava, Emery, Gavin and Everly; two brothers, John (Pat) LaFevre and Jay LaFevre; two sisters, Brenda Wharton and Audrey Bobo, and many other loving family members and lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eaves; father, Virgil LaFevre, and mother, Violet LaFevre.

A celebration of Debbie's life will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Hobart VFW, Post #5365 540 South Indiana Street, Hobart, Indiana 46342.
