Debra C. Gaskill, age 59, of Portage, passed away April 2, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 6, 1956 in Merrillville, Indiana to the late Arvel Miller and Jo Nell (nee Manley) Soria. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Debra is survived by her husband, Myers Gaskill of Portage, son; Angelo (Heidi) Ronk of Portage, four daughters; Christina (Jerome Irving) Ronk of Portage, Heather Soria of Hobart, Vanessa (Ryan) Cimbaljevich of Georgia and Veronica (Josh) Frassati of Texas, 16 grandchildren, three brothers; Roger Miller of Portage, Jimmy (Jill) Miller of Portage and Danny Miller of Tennessee, three sisters; Trudy Keller of Portage, Jane (Roger) Best of Lake Station, and Barbara (Dan) Miller of Portage, and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Debra will take place Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue Portage. Cremation will follow.
