DEBRA J. GRIFFIN, age 60, of Portage, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. Debra was a longtime resident of Portage coming from Lake Station. Debra enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Otis; 3 children, Joanne, Theresa and Vinson; 6 grandchildren, Chandler, Alexander, Kyle, Anthony, Ryan, and Emma; 4 brothers, Michael (Carrie) Chandler, Richard (Linda) Chandler, Larry Chandler, Doyle (Judy) Chandler; brother-in-law, Joe Frantom; special friends, Rose Phyllis, Carol and Barb; nieces, nephews, other loving family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Maurine Chandler; sisters, Betty Frantom and Laverne (Roy) Savat.
A funeral service for Debra will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Rich Corder officiating.
