Delyn Orto, age 79, of Lake Station passed away Sunday November 30, 2014 at Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana. Delyn was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Delyn was born April 11, 1935 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Leslie and Narlington (Jones)Brannam. She was an active member of Liverpool Baptist Church and formerly attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Delyn is survived by her son Steve (Carla) Orto of Valparaiso; two daughters Rene (Don) Lambert of Foristell, MO and Jill (Jody) Wadding of Porter; eight grandchildren Christopher, Patrick, Timothy, Kevin, Jordan, Jenna, Jake and Sara; one great granddaughter Violet; and a sister Marilyn Gray.

Delyn was preceded in death by her husband Robert and parents.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday December 3, 2014 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart with Pastor Charles Cooper officiating. Rees Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
