Dena M. Lemmon

Dena M. Lemmon, age 50, of Gary, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. She was born in Marion, Kentucky on August 25, 1967 to the late Carl and Joyce (nee Myrick) Lemmon. Dena loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Her door was always open to everyone and she will be remembered as a loving and good hearted woman.

She is survived by her spouse, Austin Mitchell; sons, Derek Griffin, Arturo Vega; daughter, Du'Rica Griffin; grandchildren, Terrell, Tramaine, Trevon Farmer, Jayden Griffin; brother, Donald Lemmon; sisters, Denise Lemmon, Carla Lemmon, Angel Tenzera, Colleen Spurlock; and many other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life service for Dena will take place Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:30 pm with Brother Roy Moffitt officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station, IN 46405.
