Denise Renee Beals 'Dee', age 69 of Lake Station passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 13, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the late John and LaNea Walczak. She was a great cook, she loved to bake and she enjoyed working in her garden. Dee was an animal lover with a kind heart. She volunteered her time to help a lot of different charities over the years, mostly benefiting animals and children. She loved riding with her husband Skooter on their Harley and probably rode in over 1000 bike rallies in her lifetime. Dee will always be remembered for her free spirit and her love of life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Skooter Beals; daughter, Darla Jarosak; son, Jay (Lisa) Lash; grandchildren, Danny (Mande) Jarosak, Tyler Dennis, Andrew Jarosak, Joey Jarosak, Dor (Felicia) Snodgrass, Matthew Valdivia , Wyatt Lash; great grandchildren, Sarah, Ryker, McKenna, Amara, Lilliana, Olivia and Milo; brother, Rodney (Candy) Walczak; and her German Shepherd, Simba.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and LaNea Walczak; and her daughter, Dawn Lash.

Visitation for Dee will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
