DENISE M. HOGAN, age 74, of Valparaiso, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 29, 1951, in Los Angeles to the late Duane and Dorothy (née Bulkley) Cameron. Denise may not have had great wealth, but she gave from the heart and was always willing to help others whenever she could. She will be remembered for her compassion, kindness, and deep love of animals. Her affection extended to cats, dogs, birds, ferrets, rats, and all creatures great and small. Denise loved her children and cherished the time she spent with them.

Denise is survived by her 5 children, Lisa Garcia, Christy Schartner, Donald Brown, Lucas (Cristina) Snyder, and Jon Cameron; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (John) Owens, and Debbie (Jay) Martin; nephew, Aaron Greenfield, and his daughter, Lily; niece, Sarah Greenfield, and her wife Sammi; other loving family.
