Dennis A. Cantrell age 59 of Crown Point passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. He was a former longtime Hobart resident. Dennis was a very well-known musician and entertainer, playing in numerous local bands and as a professional musician on the road.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Cantrell (nee Sansone) of Crown Point, IN; one son, Daniel Joseph Field of Valparaiso, IN; his mother, Elizabeth Cantrell of Hobart, IN; 3 brothers, James B. Riggsby of Mesa, AZ; Danny Cantrell of Nashville, TN; Ray Cantrell of Ogden Dunes, IN; 2 step-children, Erika (Michael) Toth of Kapolei, HI; Matthew Wesby of Crown Point, IN; 2 grandchildren, Gavin and Natalie Toth, honorary sister, Candee (Ron) Sweet Warren of Hobart, IN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Cantrell.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations for funeral expenses are appreciated.
