Dennis M. Crane

Dennis M. Crane, age 72, of Hobart passed away Monday September 23, 2024, at his home. Dennis was born August 7, 1952, in Hammond, Indiana to the late Donald and Rosella (DeJeune) Crane. Dennis was a caregiver for his parents prior to their death. And had been disabled for several years. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing. He was a former member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his brother, Jeffery Crane of Hobart, two sisters, Dannielle (Ed) Roszkowski of Hammond, and Karen Opperman of Lowell; nephews, Raymond III, Andy, and Jerry; niece Annette; two great nieces; and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Donnie, sister-n-law, Louise Crane; and brother-in-law, Raymond Opperman, II.

Visitation will be Monday September 30, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Tuesday October 1, 2024, with 9:30 am Prayers at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana and process to St. Bridget Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Rev. Benjamin Ross will Celebrate his Mass. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens will follow at 2:00 pm.
