Dennis Ray Good Sr., age 79 of Portage passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. He was born on October 31, 1935 in Lake Station, Indiana to the late Frank and Wilma Good. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Dennis retired from U.S. Steel where he had worked as an Electrician. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and woodworking. He was a member of the Deep River Bowman.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Dolores Good (nee Vargas) of Portage, IN; three sons, Dennis (Wendy) Good of Elbert, CO; Darren (Sheila) Good of Walkerton, IN; Frank (Beth) Good of Chesterton, IN; two daughters, DeLynn (Mark) Mullen of Portage, IN; DelRea Good of Portage, IN; one brother, Ronald (Beverly) Good of Lake Station, IN; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Wilma Good and grandparents, Luster and Lillian Hursey.
